Aardvark Entertainment prides itself on maintaining the best inventory of professional equipment in the Treasure Valley. We work our sister store Center Stage and are constantly updating our vast inventory to provide our customers with the newest, most reliable equipment to meet any audiovisual need. All of our equipment is thoroughly inspected before every rental. Our inventory includes professional small- to large-venue projectors, audio systems, lighting, truss, screens, drapery, and pipe and drape.

Video and Data Display

We carry a large selection of video/data projectors, screens, plasma displays, LCD monitors, and video monitors.

Audio Equipment

We carry wired and wireless microphones, mixers, speakers, all in one PA units, DJ systems (turntables available), IPOD/Computer systems, audio processing systems, conference systems, intercoms, telephone interfacing, portable sound system packages, and much more.


We carry a wide variety of lighting equipment and accessories designed for large to small events, as well as a large selection of stage lighting equipment for live events. From a single light to a full system.

Scenery and Decor

We carry custom back drops, standees, scenery, drapery, pipe and drape, props (themed and elegant), and other stage decor that can add an impressive visual element to your event.


We offer everything from high-tech equipment (lap tops, laser pointers, etc) to simple, low-tech solutions like overhead projectors, and even flipcharts.

Delivery and Pickup

We deliver, set up, and pick up equipment for your convenience or ship equipment to you anywhere in the continental United States. Contact a Rental Customer Service Representative for delivery and labor rates.

Hours of Operation

We are located in the same building as Center Stage and are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturdays 10 am-5 pm and available on Sundays by appointment. You can get a hold of us on weekends and after ours with our emergency numbers. We are closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We also accommodate deliveries, pickups, and returns after hours and on holidays for an additional charge.

Rental Policy

Here are a few general pointers to make your equipment reservation with Film Star Rentals run smoothly. Please read the entire Rental Agreement below as you will need to complete and sign it at the time of pick-up.

We require that the equipment you need to rent be reserved ahead of time, for the exact time needed. Weekends tend to be the busiest by nature. If you have a specific item you will need for a specific date, we recommend booking early to insure your rental item will be available for the desired date(s). In the event we do not have the equipment you requested we will try to make a substitution with the next closest item. If the substituted item has a higher rental rate we will absorb the difference, within reason. We have the final say in what determines 'with-in reason'.

All equipment is rented on a first-come, first-served basis. No equipment will be held unless it is paid for in advance. A quote or estimate does NOT constitute a reservation until it is paid for in full.

A valid driver's license, passport or state issued ID is required at time of pickup, no exceptions. You must be 18 years of age. The Rentee is the only individual authorized to use equipment during the rental period; any other users will void the terms of the rental and you will be required to return the equipment immediately without a refund.

Call us if you need to cancel a reservation and then follow up with an email or fax so we have a record of your cancellation. Rentals are subject to the complete rental fee if canceled less than 24 business hours in advance unless we can re-book the items. It affects other renters when you cancel at the last minute.

We are not responsible or liable for any losses incurred due to any failure of the rented equipment or any consequential losses, based on the rental transaction. All rates are subject to change without notice. All rentals are subject to availability of the equipment.

You are ultimately responsible to check your rental to ensure it is the exact equipment you need. Example if you order a microphone, standard is a handheld microphone and if you realize after the rental that you needed a headset, you will still be charged the rental of the handheld microphone unless you call within "reasonable time" (we determine reasonable time) to exchange (depends on availability).

Payment in full is required at the time of placing your reservation or the equipment is not secured. If you need to keep the rental equipment longer than the paid rental period, you must call to check availability. Please do not assume it's available as that is not fair to the next individual in line. Of course we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
